Graphic design for the visualizer of sand & snow by Montréal-based artist amari, a song exploring identity, belonging, and the richness of multiplicity.

Inspired by amari’s experience of growing up between cultures and navigating the feeling of being “too foreign here, too foreign there,” the visualizer translates the song’s reflection on diaspora and belonging into a visual language that embraces multiplicity. The project explores the idea that belonging does not have to be singular, and that identity can exist across multiple places, cultures, and experiences.
